For the second weekend of December, AUTOMAT’s gallery space will be transformed into AUTOMA•R•T. At this event, small artworks made by artists from our community will be available for sale well below market value. Enjoy holiday-themed refreshments and shop for holiday gifts or artwork for your personal collection.

We also invite you to screen print two unique AUTOMAT graphics on merch onsite during the event. To avoid further contributing to the textile waste crisis, choose from our selection of vintage, thrifted, and gently worn clothing – or bring your own cotton (or cotton blend) fabric shirt, hoodie, or jacket to customize at the event! On Thursday we will be using red ink to print a section of text pulled from a vintage AUTOMAT advertisement and on Saturday we will be using white ink to print a graphic of a piece of pie.

AUTOMAT is a collectively run curatorial project and gallery space primarily funded by our members. The artworks featured in this sale are generously donated by artists of the AUTOMAT community. The funds we receive from this event will allow us to continue to showcase and promote emerging artists by helping us raise money to cover our operating expenses.
