The works presented here reflects vital avenues of investigation in contemporary art. Consideration of touch, literal or virtual, takes center stage. From deep scratches into paint, braids of real hair, and mashed up swirls of food, the tactility of the everyday emerges. On the other end of the spectrum, the flatness of consumer products and objects of leisure ask questions of our relationship to our lifestyles.
